Nisha

Nisha is Astrid (Meaghan Rath) and Dawn’s (Nazneen Contractor) mother. Recently retired and loving it, Nisha has a zest for life and seeking new adventures. An enthusiastic, breathless, and ‘fun’ grandmother, Nisha is helpful but sets boundaries on her childcare to carve out some “me time”. While Nisha is supportive of her daughters and their modern parenting styles, they often clash with her baby boomer ways. She loves to dish the latest gossip about her daughters’ childhood friends or other family members. Usually involving some horrible tragedy or injury they have befallen. She’ll always seize the opportunity to bring some food (and sugary treats for the kids) whenever she pops by for a visit.
